SG scraper with expandable blades removes burrs, rust, cement crust, paraffin and other build-ups from inside walls of the casing.

Design

SG scraper consists of a body, blades, pistons, spring retainers, screws, split ring and bushing.
One-piece tubular body of the scraper has a box thread at the top and a pin thread at the bottom. Screwed in at the bottom of the body, the bushing regulates mud flow rate. Radially expandable blades, installed in longitudinal slots, has durable quenched cutting edges.
Mud pressure feeds the pistons (three pistons per blade), forcing blades out and against the casing walls.
