LKz threading die collar externally engages and retrieves a fish in the wellbore.
Being a tube section made out of forged alloy steel, the die collar has box thread at its upper end and carburized V-shaped internal fishing thread with ¾”TPF(1:16) and flutes, designed to flush out the cuttings while engaging the fish, at its lower end.
The tool has a watercourse to maintain circulation.
The die collar is available in right- and left-hand configuration. The right-hand die collar is used to retrieve all remaining tubes at once; the left-hand one is used for fragmentary retrieval of the fish, by breaking out fish string.
The die collars are typically furnished with a cutlip guide in order to pick up the fish pressed against the wall. If fishing in cavern of an open-hole section, use a wall hook.
Reliable engagement of the die collar on the fish allows for reciprocation at higher loads and easy disengagement after fishing operation.
The releasable spear is avalable in right- and left-hand configuration.
