FTU-T Frac Port Junk Mill

Application

Used in conjunction with coiled tubing, FTU-T junk mill mills metal, packer plugs, drills out cement during intervention in oil, gas and exploratory wells.

Design

The mill consists of a body made of high-strength alloy steel and cutting-grinding braze of crushed tungsten carbide in nickel/brass matrix and cutter bars. Blades are reinforced with carbide inserts to enhance wear resistance of the body. The mill has thread connection at the upper end and circulation ports and relevant watercourses for better cooling and more efficient cuttings removal at the lower end and flanks.
