TLVPM Releasable Spear

Application

TLVPM releasable spear is used to retrieve tubing during remediation in a wellbore.

Design

TLVPM releasable spear consists of a body, slip, slip cage, head, sub, bushing, bushing key, threaded bushing, cover, friction bushing, screws.
The body of the spear is made in the form of a sleeve; its lower end is connected to the head.
The body has inclined dovetailed slots, where the slips with mating slide travel.
There is stop notch on the slips. The slips are carburized at depth down to 0.8-1.0mm and quenched (58-60 HRC).
The releasable spear is avalable in right- and left-hand configuration.
