TVP Nonreleasable Spear

Application

TVP unreleasable spear is designed to retrieve tubing during remediation in a well.

Design

TVP spear consists of the following parts: sub, body, slip, bushing key and screw. The sub has box thread to connect to the fishing string at the upper end and special thread to connect to the spear body at the lower end. The spear body is made in the form of a sleeve.It has inclined dovetail slots, in which the slips with matching dovetail male travel. The slips are carburized at depth down to 0.8-1.0mm and quenched (58-63HRC).
